Iceland 2005

This series of images was captured during a trip to Iceland in early July 2005.

In late June and early July 2005 I participated in a photographic workshop organised by the Icelandic nature photographer Daniel Bergmann. I had met and worked alongside Daniel during my previous trip to Iceland in 2004. When he let it be known that he was organising a workshop I didn't take much convincing to sign up. During the 9 days of this trip to Iceland we spent most of our time in the south eastern part of the island photographing areas that included the: Kerlingarfjoll mountains, Fjallabak nature reserve, Landmannalaugar, Stadarfjall mountains, and finally the South Fjallabak. We shot in all kinds of weather, although mostly wet, and at all hours of the day.
