The trip began with drive along the northern Maine coast before crossing into New Brunswick (Canada) then entering the Province of Nova Scotia. We explored as much of the peninsula as time allowed. This included the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the wild eastern coastline of this island part of the Province. We then headed to Halifax to visit the central region during the day but ensuring we took every opportunity to capture the sunrise and sunsets at the famous Peggys Cove Lighthouse. This is the iconic location in Nova Scotia and its wild and remote location makes it one of the most recognised lighthouse on the eastern seaboard of the North American continent. From here we continued our exploration of the Province as we headed south west to photograph the coast around Weymouth and Yarmouth. Having completed our journey through Nova Scotia we returned to the USA, crossing the border into Northern Maine. We then crossed into New Hampshire and the White Mountains enjoying the fall scenery and quaint villages. The trip was organised by my good friend Roger Reynolds at Photoventures (photoventures.net)
